I was just reading about this old brewing technique in Radical Brewing. Has anyone attempted this? I think it sounds like an interesting experiment.

I've done it a few times. Fairly straightforward. Just plan out exactly what you are gonna do very carefully.

I do it quite often because I always brew 10 gallon batches and want two different beers. Does take careful planning. A refractometer helps a lot to quickly know where your gravity is going. It's fun and rewarding!
