I'm an extract brewer and have the following ingredients on hand:

-1# of Muntons Crushed Crystal Two Row Barley - 49L-64L
-1# of Flaked Barley
-1oz of Cascade Hop Pellets AA5%
-1oz of Sterling Hop Pellets AA6%
-8oz of Maltodextrin
-5oz of Priming Sugar (Dextrose)
-Safale US-05 Dry Yeast and/or Danstar Nottingham

I plan to go to my LHBS to pick up some Light, Amber, or Extra Light DME (6 Pounds). Not sure which would be best.

I'd prefer to try and make a American Pale Ale, Amber Ale, or IPA.

Can anyone suggest a decent recipe utilizing the ingredients I have on hand, sans DME?

For hop schedule, would I be better off using the Sterling for bittering and Cascade for Aroma in the boil?

Thanks!

I say go get yourself 5 lbs of light or extra light DME and go with this:

5# Light DME
1# Muntons cyrstal
1# Flaked Barley

Sterlings at 60 min
Cascades at 15 min.

US-05 for yeast.

Now if you really want to do this right pick up another ouce of cascades and drop them w/ 1 min to go.

Awesome, Thanks! I'll try and pick up the extra ounce of Cascade as well.

Avoid the flaked barley. It's useless unless mashed; all you'll get is haze in the finished beer.

I agree with adding another ounce of Cascades at flameout.

Just DME, a pound of Crystal and hops. YUM!

Austins sent me 6.5 lbs of Extra Pale LME instead of wheat LME...I am brand new to brewing so I had a question about this recipe. Can you give me a link to the Crystal? Is that something that is a DME or do you have to put it in a muslin bag?

In a bag. It's grain. If you're brand new to it I'd consider just sticking with the LME and hops. Should be a good experience, and a tasty brew.
