Hi,
I'm brewing on a 10 gal Sabco system and using the chillzilla counter flow wort chiller. It takes me about 40 min to cool 10 gallons to around 65 degrees. My cold water temp is around 55 and at least 5 gal per minute. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why it takes so long to cool the wort? Thanks a lot,
-Lars

seems like a really long time to cool it down, especially with a counterflow. I use an emmersion chiller and it usually only takes about 15-20 mins.

Ive tried connecting the hoses both ways and there doesn't seem to be much difference
