Today marks one year since I have started brewing. My first batch was an extract wheat recipe I picked up at my LHBS. They had forgotten to give me yeast so I used bread yeast and I fermented between 75-90 degrees. The LHBS also forgot the priming sugar so when it came to bottling time I used honey. I used too much honey and over carbed the bottled. I did not have bottle bombs but when the popped the grolsch cap the whole hing assembly would fly across the room. I did not like the beer but my roommate did so he drank them.
Today I am thinking of a two batch brew day. I will be brewing orfy's hob goblin clone and maybe a belgian pale, I have not looked through my grains to see what other beer I could brew.
Thanks for all the great information I have found on this board and this next year of brewing should even be more successful.
