One batch in and the LHBS owner recognises me...

We've been in a few times, first to check it out as it's a new store, then to grab some equipment and sanitizer, and today we went again and I bought the ingredients for my first solo batch (and first non-kit batch!).

Granted, we tend to be less forgettable because of my service dog, but it was pretty funny when the owner said, "You just can't stay out of here, can you?" LOL

Anyway, these are the ingredients I picked up:

6 lbs NB Pilsen LME
12 oz Honey Malt
4 oz Victory Malt
1 oz Chinook hops
American Ale yeast

I'm going for a Golden/Cream Ale. I'm pretty excited!

Good luck in your first solo batch - looks like it will be a nice blonde ale! And I'm with you - it is nice when your lhbs folks remember you, we all want to be appreciated.
