Old Hops? What to do with them

Question: Anyone ever order too many hops?

I did. I have a good amount sitting in my freezer. The bag somehow came open and they seem to be not as fresh as they once were. I brewed with some and they definitely are not up to par.

Any ideas on what to do with them? Hop candy came to mind.

Time to start brewing something funky. Lambics used aged hops.

Interesting. I'm not a big fan of lambics but it's better then wasting hops

Why wouldn't you use the BEST hops for hop candy? I guess everyone has their priorities. I would use them exclusively for bitterness additions.
