I'm doing 5 gal batch of Ed Worts House Pale Ale. This will b my first all grain and first time aerating with pure o2. Question is my regulator is adjustable .5, 1, 2 etc lpm and I have 2 micron stone(thought it was .5) any how at what setting and how long do I aerate.

Thanks Paul

Turn it on until you have a steady stream of bubbles that doesn't cause foam to rise for about 60 seconds. When I first started using o2 I opened the reg all the way and it foamed all over and I only got two 5g batches out of one o2 tank lol.

I do .5 lpm for four minutes through a .5um stone. iirc, Chris White in Yeast did 1 lpm for two minutes to hit around 12ppm O2 content...

Cheers!

Sounds good ill try 1 min at .5 lpm and see how it turns out.using Nottingham ale dry yeast

Use a blow off if you don't already, that's the first difference I noticed lol!
