Hey Guys,

I am making NB's Extract Nut Brown Ale. The recipe has an OG of 1.044 and boils 1 Oz Fuggles for 60 Min with no other additions. AA are 5.2% and Beta is 3.4%. I have some left over hops, am thinking about adding .3 oz of Liberty in for 15 min for finishing. AA 3.9 and Beta 3.7.

What effect would this have on the beer (if any)?

It should give it a bit of hop aroma and alter the flavor a little bit. Odds are that it will come out just fine. I say go for it. I have a BB English Brown Ale kit that I made and is a bit on the hoppy side and I really like it.
