Hey all, been brewing for couple years now but ran into a problem or two with my new kegerator.... I bought it and it was designed for the normal large size keg... I can't seem to find the correct fittings anywhere in order to use it in conjunction with one of my cornelius kegs?? (two would even be better!)
The beer line goes to a female thread (Not even sure of the size!?) that would ultimately thread onto the male part of the tap that it came with... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

a side noob question-- Are the quick disconnects actually different from the gas and beer ones on a ball lock keg system or just black / grey for always knowing which port to put it on?

Thanks guys

I believe what you are referring to is a MFT. You can get ball lock QDs that are mft instead of barbed. I don't even own a single barbed one, all of my QDs are MFT. Yes there is a difference besides the color. look at the ridge on the in and out posts of a cornie you will notice that bev out ridge is thicker than the gas in ridge. If you ever manage to get a gas QD onto a bev out post you will curse the day it snapped on, and probably head to your neighbors to borrow some vice grips to get it off. Remember B=BLACK=BEER=OUT, G=GREY=GAS=IN

What is a MFT?

I've tried searching on many sites for correct reducing / anything for a way to get the normal keg size female (that attaches to the tap my kegerator came with) to connect to my beer line QD
