I just made my first batch, but I don't see any yeast activity. I wrongly activated the yeast at 86F before y fermented, maybe that's the problem and if it is is there any way to fix it? Maybe adding more yeast?

I activated the yeast, and pitched just after I putted liquor in the fermetor, and yeah I'm a rookie !

Oh yeah it was earlier today at about 1 pm central ...

Visible signs of active fermentation can take up to 72 hours so kick back, relax and have a beer:D

Excellent advise ... In case something happens I know I can count on you guys... Tnx

yeah its just one of those things, it could start soon or later... especially depending on the strain. I had one go 40 some hours before it started and when it finally did it blew the airlock out.

Just give it some time, u'll be good im sure.
