A new nitro (or beer-gas) system is incoming to my shed brewery.
I have a firm grasp on pressures, line lengths, and all that stuff (If not, I'll post a question in the future).
The situation I have now is this;
I have that 5/16 ID red vinyl tubing for all my co2 lines in my kegorator. For this incoming nitro system, I figure I'll get the same line type, but in a different color. I'm looking at a blue one.
My hang ups / questions, that are nagging me right now are;
1) Is this type of line strong enough to handle a nitro system? Or is there a better type of gas line I should be using?
2) Of smaller concern, I'm pretty sure I can use my keg ball-lock gas connectors for the nitro system. Is this true?
I just want to be 100% certain in both instances before 1) I place any order, and 2) Something takes off like a rocket-ship/explodes in my brewery.
Thanks for any and all help.
