Nicklebrook Headstock IPA Clone
First Recipe I'm posting so I’m Using Biermuncher recipe template for this.
This is a clone recipe from Nickle Brook Brewery in Burlington, ON, Canada
I’ve been working on this for almost a year and I think I got it. Don’t be afraid to play with the dry hops.
Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: California Ale
Yeast Starter: Yes
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.066
Final Gravity: 1.015
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
IBU: 80
Color: 8
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 21 days at 67 Degrees
Additional Fermentation: Kegged, chilled and Carb for one week
Batch Size: 5.50 gal
Estimated OG: 1.066 SG
Estimated Color: 8 SRM
Estimated IBU: 80 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.0 %
Boil Time: 60 Minutes

1.00 oz HBC 369 (Equinox) [12.25%] (30 min)
0.50 oz Amarillo [9.20%] (10 min)
0.50 oz Equinox [15.00%] (7 min)
1.00 oz Amarillo [9.20%] (7 Day Dry Hop)
1.50 oz Equinox [15.00%] (7 Day Dry Hop)
1 pk Calafornia Ale (WLP001)
Mash at 153 degrees for 60 minutes.
Water Profile: (Ca)46 (Mg)6 (Na)88 (SO4)79 (Cl)66 (HCO3)159
If my water profile doesn’t make sense sorry, Just getting used to it. I always start with Distlled and build toward this using Beersmith Water Tool
