Newbie in GA, sort of...

Hey everybody.
n00b here.

Currently in Decatur, GA but moving to Birmingham, AL soon.
I'm gonna start a home brew operation at the new house so I'm here to get some smarts.

I love all beer but have a special affection for pale ales. I'm thinking about trying to brew one of those first.

Some favorite beers of mine are Sweetwater Road Trip and Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

Welcome to the obsession. I live in Birmingham, send me a pm when you move and we can go for a brew. If you like pale ales look at Dudes Lake Walk Pale Ale. I brewed it a couple months back and its very good. There is a new brewery here in town named Good People that make a nice pale ale.

i was hoping to find a local brewery to replace my affinity for Sweetwater, a local brewery here in Atlanta.

i'll definitely keep Dudes Lake in mind as well.
