I am in the process of making my first keezer and thought of a question. I'm used to using a priming sugar before I bottle to carbonate but when I start kegging I will no longer need to do that step, correct? The CO2 does the job of carbonating now right?

Just to tack on to a thread with a similar question. ...

I have a recipe that calls for priming with maple sugar.

Would this be something like Brown Sugar only mixed with maple syrup instead of molasses? If so, would I want to keg with a shot of maple syrup as well?

You can still use the sugar to naturally carbonate if you wish. I do this some times when The keezer is full!
