I've been reading the posts here for a few weeks.

I am going to thank everyone in advance for all of the great hint and tips and, the friendly atmosphere here.

I began, as a lot of others, with a gift of a Mr. Beer kit and, am slowly accumulating bits for a 5 gallon set-up.

As soon as I accumulate enough bottles, I will begin with a cream ale recipe and hope to get to the point where I can have a pipeline filled so that the only commercial beer I buy will be for parties.......some people don't appreciate good beers.

I look forward to participating in the lively banter here.

Thanks all,

I'm from Lafayette, IN. and have been reading everything I can get my hands on to learn about brewing.

I'm sure I'll be buggin" you for help in the coming months.

Welcome.
Half the fun of this obsession for me is the research. Even after reading Charlie Papazian and John Palmer's books, there is still quite a lot of information out there. Much of it I find reading this board. Great knowledgable folks here.
Of coarse the other half is the great beer!
