New guy from Oakland, CA

Although this is not my first post, I will introduce myself...

I am very new brewer, on my second batch (extract kolsch), with one waiting in the wings (Hoegaarden Clone partial mash)..

I am a long time wine guy that has made a small amount of wine on a small commercial scale in the past, but since I live in an industrial loft, that is not possible for me on a home scale.

I am also a cast member on next years "The Winemakers - Season 2 Rhone Valley"...on PBS next September (supposedly!!).

I have read many of the topics here with great interest, and I respect the experience and knowledge that I can already see exists in many of the posters.

Welcome! I worked in Oakland for 7 years. My first equipment and batch was bought at the good brewer in Livermore. If you are ever in that area, check the place out (if it is still in business.) Daniel is a real nice guy.
