I am about to bottle my first batch,it is a extract recipe from AHB. The OG was 1.052 and the FG was supposed to be 1.012. It has been in primary for 3 weeks, but the reading has been 1.018 for the last 3 days. I am about to bottle it and wondered if it was ok to do so. Don't want to have bottle bombs!!! It is a Hefeweizen and I used Wyeast Weihenstephan Weizen 3068 with an active starter. The lock started bubbling after only about 2 hours and continued for about 5 days. I have read that a hefe can be bottled fairly quickly, and with the reading the same after 3 days I figured it would be ok to go ahead and bottle.
IS IT??? Any advice would be appreciated.

I used AHS Bavarian Hefeweizen
- Priming Sugar: Include Priming Sugar

- BrewVint Yeast Fuel: No Thanks
- Kit Option: Extract
- Yeast Option: Wyeast Weihenstephan Weizen 3068
- Beer Bottle Caps: Yes
- Ice Pack: Yes It was supposed to be 1.012 but is 1.018

I don't think it is going to go any lower after 3 weeks. I would go ahead and maybe consider using a little less priming sugar.
