Just wondering if anyone has any experience with using a flexible style quick disconnect NG hose to supply a burner outdoors? I have access to the 3/4" NG line in my garage and I'd like to continue brewing in my open patio space (not against my house with a hard piped connection).

My thought is to use something like this kit 3/4" Ball Valve Quick Connect Natural Gas Hose Connector Kit | MB Sturgis to feed my Blichmann Hellfire burner.

Anybody done this?

I brewed with NG on my KAB-6 this way for... at least a year. I had hard pipe plumbed in and now no longer use that, but it worked perfectly fine for me. If I wanted to, or had a friend over, we could hook that back up and also do multiple batches at once. It worked fine for me.
