Depoe Bay it is! Great little town. I discovered it when I was moving to Alaska and had to drive my car up to Tacoma to put it on the boat to Anchorage. The Blue building is the Channel House Hotel where my wife and I stayed. Gorgeous views. Aces, you're up.

You missed the opportunity to drive to Alaska! The most amazing road trip I've ever taken. New Orleans to Anchorage over 2 weeks, simply breathtaking.

Unfortunately, time was of the essence. Then, when I moved back to Los Angeles, I booked a cabin on the car ferry from Whittier to Prince Rupert. At the last minute I had to cancel that, too, for a work emergency. Bummer.
