I'm planning on doing my first SMaSH, a 3 gallon Munich Simcoe. Below is the recipe. A few questions...
1. Thoughts on a good mash temp for Munich? I was thinking single infusion at 150.
2. The Munich is 9L and from Canadian Malting Company. Is this technically "Light Munich"? I've read a ton of people that say they have done a "Munich SMaSH", yet I've also read that it needs to be light Munich or else it will have an overpowering malt flavor. Can I assume the Munich being used in mostly everyone's SMaSH beers is in the 6-10L range?
3. Any thoughts on the hop schedule?

Most all munich grain bills are made with the lighter Munich (10ish). You can make one with 20L, but it would be really malty. Some people really like that though.

I did one similar to what you are doing, and it came out great.
