mini ball valves????

Hey guys I was searching around here and didnt see any topics on the use of these and I wondered if anyone had ever used them and where they might be used effectively?

I was thinking of using them on my recirculation/whirlpool inlets to control flow w/o having to use the standard Ball Valves, and these are obv cheaper than those.

Thoughts?

doesn't look like they are full port, which could be a problem, but they would look nice in some spots on your rig

If you don't mind the effective 3/8" interior bore on the ball, they'd work just fine.

I was thinking of using them on some of the side ports for the whirlpool returns. I guess I could always get a couple and try them out, but @ ~$10 a piece I can pay a few more bucks and get full port ones...

Don't see any other threads, so pulling a necrothread revival.

When dealing with a smaller pot, the three part stainless ball valves are way to heavy and bulky. Hoping these stream line a bit.

There's nothing wrong with them except that they are really reduced in internal diameter. If you're already planning on using 3/8" ID tubing, it's no big deal though.
