Milk thistle in a home brew... What!!!???

Am I crazy or is it an OK idea to add milk thistle to your home brew... I mean, we all love a good home brew, but what's wrong with a healthy side-kick!?!?!
It is going to be actual milk thistle grains as they are widely available here.... I may just be a little nuts for trying to make my
beer healthier for my liver!!!

Hey! Actually that is what I need to research. See, I am not seeking any fermentables from milk thistle so I need to know how to get the most benefit out of them... Steeping or boiling... Not sure yet!
