mead question

hello
i just made a batch of watermelon mead and i was reading on here that it was a mistake. i used one whole sugar baby watermelon, didnt juice it just threw the chunks in there. its not foaming that much at all and id hate to make a bad batch but i dont wanna drain it and expose my brew. should i transfer it to another 5gal bottle or just let it ride? thanks for the advice guys
