I have just pitched the yeast and nutrients however i didnt read the article i was following for nutrient doseage all the way through and pitched the whole measurement of nutrient at once. What should i do about this issue?

I put yeast that can have the ABV go to 18%. So close to that i guess.
Diffferent yeast are better at achieving higher abv than others but in the end, it comes down to how much sugar they have to eat.

How much honey did you use her gallons? Did you take a gravity reading before starting?

While staggard additions are common... all's good with your mead.

Depending on yeast it will stop about 15%abv leaving a sweet mead for you to enjoy.

After sanitation fermentation temp is important, it also impacts how long to age for.

Aim for 6 months, taste and keep going if needed.
