Hey all, so I did a search and was surprised that I couldn't find anything on this topic. Assuming I can heat my oven as low as 150, does anyone see any problem with me using my bottling bucket, a false bottom/big grain bag, and an oven to keep the mash warm?

Moving soon, and trying to keep my equipment at a minimum.

Ps- I would, of course still be using hot strike water off the stove to get the mash started.

I have read somewhere on this site about doing that and have done it with good success. I can only do it for recipes with a top up or small batch BIAB. My bigger pots will not fit.

I heated the oven to my strike temperature then turned it off. My final temperature had only dropped 1 degree.
