I have decided to make the leap from extract to all grain. My extract beers are coming out drinkable, but I can't seem to get rid of the extract twang. I recently moved to full boils and that did not help. Although, the beer I am drinking now is better as it as aged a little more. Anyway, I am trying to build a mash tun and I am having some issues. Any help would be appreciated.
I am getting leaks in my setup. I know why, see TheProblem picture below. I just don't know how to fix it.

I knew it would not be as easy as every says to I started drinking a little early.
This picture is what is causing me to have leaks. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? The problem:
