I brewed two PM batches and steeped the specialty grains in 155F water for 30 minutes. By the time I was finished steeping it was late so I left the mash on the stove overnight at room temp and then finished the brew in the AM adding additional water, the extracts and hops.

My guess is that there is no harm in this, but I thought I would check here.

Thx...

short answer.......the boil killed off anything you would've had to worry about :rockin:

edit: was it the whole mash left or just the wort?

The specialty grains and grainbag that I steeped for 30 minutes were removed from the wort before I went to sleep for the night.

My guess is that this probably did not do any harm and that anything that tried to attack the wort was killed off during the boil the next day.
