Is a 62qt cooler too big for 5 gallon batches? Is it big enough for 10 gallon batches? Anyone have a hard time making a mlt from a Coleman extreme cooler with wheels?
Not sure about the shape, but if it's long & short it may not work as well with 5 gal.
62 quart is the same as a 1/2 keg, so pretty much perfect for 10 gallon batches.
It's not too big. I use a 90qt Coleman, and still use it for my 5 gallon batches. Better too big than too small. I guess that goes for almost everything.

It's fine, especially for batch sparging. I don't think you would have enough grain bed to do a good job fly sparging. As long as the drain port is in a good position to adequately drain the cooler through a manifold I see no problem with it.
