Beer Buzz will be live from Springfield Brewing Company with Ashton Lewis, otherwise known as BYO magazine's Mr. Wizard. We'll be talking malt, so if you have any questions you'd like to have asked while you have his ear, post them in this forum.

The show will air on live over-the-air radio in our local market, but you can also listen streaming at http://TAGsgf.com and I'll post a link to the podcast after the show's done.

Showtime is 4 pm CST next Sunday. Post your questions, and I'll hit as many as I can in the hour we have. Don't be afraid to get geeky

Thanks, guys.

Ben

I am curious about the use of 6-row to help convert adjuncts in the mash. I've heard it raises the nitrogen level of the mash, which is how it converts rice or corn or whatever. Is this true? And if so, do I need to use a lot of 6 row?
