Several years ago a friend gave me a 32" section of stainless duct w/ flanges on each end. Hand rolling a cone around pieces of pipe, a bit of tig welding, a heap'o bronze fittings, and tada!
My arms are too short to get the camera in that far. Besides, I don't even want to see them up close.
I'm just happy it holds pressure. But I will have to keep on top of sanitation. Probably use a boiling water soak before starting next batches. What the sanitizers won't get, the heat will.
I'm mostly brewing wine in 20 gallon batches. It will be nice to have a conical to minimize handling, even if I have to work a bit harder to keep it tidy..
