Just did my first full boil 5 gallon batch and realized I didn't adjust appropriately for boil off. I currently have 4.5 gal of wort in my primary and it's too late to add any sterile/bottled water. My target SG is spot on, is this something to worry about it? I checked the volume about 20 min after aerating and the foam had gone down quite a bit so I'm fairly certain 4.5 gal is the actual volume.

Nothing to worry about, I would rather have the gravity correct. Calibrate a stick so you can check volumes in the kettle for last minute adjustments.

True, although by the time I realized it I had no pre-boiled water readily available and it was very late. Hit my target OG of 1.075 with 4.5 gal, so i suppose adding additional water would have lowered this. Another lesson learned I suppose.
