Long Trail Yeast

Just curious, does anyone know what strain of yeast Long Trail in VT uses?

Which beer? There's two dozen to choose from, and I doubt they use the same strains.

If it's the altbier, I'd go with WLP036.

But you could just call them.
Worse that happens is they shut you down, but they may surprise you...

Well, I was thinking of trying a clone to the Stand Out American Pale Ale. It's their new spring seasonal. Any ideas?

Had to pick one I've never tried, eh?

Reading the brewery notes as well as the various tasting notes on BA, the yeast character is rarely ever noted.
Given the brewery pushes the hop character you probably want something that won't get in the way, so WY1056, WLP001, or even US-05 would likely work fine.
Or you could push the citrusy notes even further and go with a Conan strain (The Yeast Bay Vermont Ale or GigaYeast GY054)...
