Hey guys, I'm sure this info is on this site somewhere but after a quick search I couldn't find it. Palmer's book (How to Brew) states that you should boil a pint of water and stir in 1/2 cup of DME to make your starter. Since I don't have any DME, is it ok to just use the same amount of LME? By the way, I'm using a White Labs slant of Irish Ale yeast. Sorry for the basic question, but I just need a quick answer so I can make my starter between work and school in a little bit!
Thanks!

Apart from being messy and difficult to measure, LME will work fine. It contains water, so use about 20% more than DME. The exact amount is not super critical.
