Need suggestions, I have some left over grains and hops and was wondering what to make with it.
I prefer lighter dryer beers

5lb 2 row
2lb 6oz caramalt 40L
2lb 14oz victory malt 28L
5lb 13oz Munich 10L
2lb 2oz Carafoam 2.9L
3lb 15oz chocolate 400L
5 oz Special Roast 40L

1oz Liberty 4.3%
1oz N. Brewer 8.5%
1/2 oz willamate 3.8%
1/2 oz Summit 15.5%

1 pkg Saflager s-23

Those ingredients are begging for a dunkle, schwarz bier or amber lager!

Just something I threw together.

If you want a lighter beer, save your dark malts for a future brew and use the rest, along with all of your hops, to make a hoppy lager. Sort of an APA fermented with lager yeast. Mash low, 148-150. Use the N. brewer as a dry hop. This is assuming a 5 gal batch.
