Hey Guys

I have a very frustrating problem that I can't figure out how to solve.

My brand new micromatic coupler leaks around the bolt keeping the beer line connected to the coupler. I have taken a wrench and all my strength to it with no hope. Its a tiny leak but over a few weeks will empty a keg.

Should i use plumbers tape? Keep tightening? Get a new tap?

Its awful. Also its prectically impossible to even unscrew the thing its on there so tight. Help me!!:fro:

Oh yea and im using a commercial keg but the leak is clearly coming from the beer line connection

"Bolt"?

Do you mean the hex nut that threads onto the top of the coupler?
Did you put a gasket in that connection before threading the nut on?

Cheers!
