Now that I finally have good ferm temp control and kegs, what's the general practice for lagering when you have kegs. Do most people just transfer to keg and put on a touch of CO2 and leave it sit for some time in kegerator. Or is it better to move it secondary To sit in the fridge for a month or two before serving? Does the lagering stage create much sediment in the bottom of the keg?

I transfer from primary to the keg, cold crash, add gelatin, then force carb and let it sit for a couple weeks. Then just pour off a cup or two of sediment.

I do the same thing. I leave it on the gas at serving pressure the whole time while lagering. That way, it's carbonated when I start taking tastes to see if it's ready. If you taste-test flat lagered beer, you won't get a good sense of whether it's ready.
