About a week ago I made a small starter of some white labs mexican lager yeast, left it on the stir plate for about 30 hours, it hit high krausen, then activity (seemed to) stop, so I stopped spinning it. I placed it in the fridge for a cold crash, to let it settle down so that I could later decant it and place it into a much larger starter for a 10 gallon batch.

Fast forward about a week, and the starter is still very cloudy... This is my first time ever doing a lager, and I am unfamiliar with the yeast properties, is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Thanks for any input!

If you have followed all normal precedures when making a starter and the yeast was OK then no worries.
