Krausening

I may want to try krausening in some type of cask....be it a wooden barrel, traditional keg, etc. Anyone out there have any experience with this. I need to know what type of vessel to use (where to purchase, cost, etc) that I can krausen AND serve from without having to use a co2 tank to move the beer (I'm assuming that I will have to use a hand pump???). Thanks.

are you talking about fermenting? im confused? and the problem with hand pumps is that it introduces oxygen and not co2 leading to oxidation....
