Brewed this for a friend. I tasted it side by side and was very similar. I've found adding abit of enzymes to help dry it out makes it even more similar. I suspect the hop variety makes no difference.

All SI units.
Batch Size = 22L.
Brew house Efficiency= 70%
OG = 1.050
FG = 1.015
IBU = 13
Colour = 5.5 EBC
ABV = 5.0%

Grainbill:
3.75kg Pilsner Malt = 75%
1.00kg Corn flaked = 20%
0.25kg Cane Sugar = 5%

Mash Schedule fits in 36Litre Mash Tun:
Mash In - 7.75L at 50-Degrees for 15minutes (57.5-degree water temp to add)
Beta - 4.00L at 60-Degrees for 40minutes (85.9-degree water temp to add)
Alpha - 4.90L at 70-Degrees for 25minutes (100-degree water temp to add)
Mashout - 6.00 L at 77-Degrees for 15minutes (100-degree water temp to add)

Fly Sparge with 17L at 76-Degrees

Boil:
90-Minutes Total Boil
10g Northern Brewer at 60minute addition (10% AAU)
6g Northern Brewer at 30minute addition (10% AAU)
Whirlfloc at 15minutes.
Cool then whirlpool.

Yeast
Wyeast American Lager #2035 - 3.00 Litre Starter (400 Billion Cells)

Fermentation Profile
12-Degrees for 14-Days
Rack to Secondary and rise to 16-Degrees for 4-Days (I add dry enzyme here)
Lager at 4-Degrees for 30-Days.
I lager in keg and it worked well
