Hello I am having difficulty finding this answer regardless of several posts to this topic. I have a 15 gallon pot with ball valve. I am going to use this pot to batch sparge then drain into a bucket. Clean pot and use it for my kettle. My question is would work best for double duty as a grain/hop filter? A SS braid, a copper manifold, false bottom or something else I don't know about?

You are probably going to want a FB if it will be doubling as a kettle with a hop filter. That will be easier to clean than a braid or manifold and more sturdy. It will also give you the option to fly sparge if you ever take that route.
