Kegland Series X advice - re gas inlet via PET hole.

Instructions say to remove the PET cap and insert gas tube through. That's fine, but a large hole is left through which cold air can escape. What have you used to insulate the hole?
 
Replace the cap(s) with something like one of these:

Then:

Or drill a hole the size of your gas line in the cap
The standard coke bottle threads in the back of the crappy X series kegerator are supposed to be alternatives to drilling holes. Much better, imo.
