So i am having a tough time keeping a good temp for my kegerator (converted mini-fridge). I have been looking at Johnson controls, STC-1000 builds, etc. Then i found a duct fan thermostat with a temp range of 40-100 at Homedepot for 21 bucks. Anybody had success using other types of thermostats (like aquarium thermostats or duct thermostats)? I have a link here too. Do you all think this would work? I would have to allow the fridge to get to temp and then this thermostat could hold it at the proper temp.
