Kegerator conversion (pin to ball lock): Replacing disconnects?

Hey all!

Thinking of converting my draft system from pin to ball lock, but gas/beer disconnects were attached with oetiker clamps.

Is it okay to cut the lines behind the pin- lock disconnects & attach new ball locks, or will that 1” shortening of the lines affect flow, head, etc?

The length of your gas lines don't matter and 1" of beer line should have no perceived effect on serving. Go ahead and cut them.
