I just got back from the welding shop where the guy talked me into re-filling my 5lb tank with a mixture of 75/25 Nitrogen/Co2. I decided to start to google it and found that everyone is saying that is a terrible idea and my beer will go flat because I can't crank the psi up high enough to compensate.

I've got 2 beers on draft and they are always home brew.

Should I cut my loss and go get it fixed to straight up Co2?

Why would the welding shop know what you need for your beer?

Yep, take it back and ask for the correct stuff.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to set up a nitro faucet and brew some big ass stouts! :ban:

But, seriously, the welding guy effed up, and owes you a refill with straight CO2...

Cheers!
