Hey guys,

Wanting to tap into some of the creative genius I know exists out there. I bought a canner recently and have started making labels for my homebrews. Our faux name is "Vintage Vinyl Brewing" as we love music and vinyl records (and beer of course).

Wanted to start a thread to see what kind of cool names you guys can come up with. I tried to focus on either general beer terms and hop varieties mostly. Whatever sounded somewhat comical/genius/stupid.

Let me get you started with our list so far:

As My Galaxy Gently Weeps - (As My Guitar Gently Weeps)
Azeccacadabra - (Abracadabra)
Centennial Me An Angel - (Send Me An Angel)
Champagne Citranova - (Champagne Supernova)
Clusterstruck - (Thunderstruck)
Comet As You Are - (Come As You Are)
Don't Worry Be Hoppy - (Dont Worry Be Happy)
Danksters Paradise - (Gangsters Paradise)
Donut Let the Sun Go Down On Me (Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me)
Eukanot My Back Door - (Lookin' Out My Bank Door)
Hop For Teacher - (Hot For Teacher)
Hop-Scoot Boogie - (Boot-Scoot Boogie)
Hotel Citrafornia - (Hotel California)
Lemondrop It Like Its Hot - (Drop It Like Its Hot)
Nuthin But A Hop Thang - (Nuthin But A G Thang)
Nugget Compares 2 U - (Nothing Compares 2 U)
Say It Ain't Simcoe - (Say It Ain't So)
Stout! Stout! Let It All Out - (Shout)
Unfugglegettable - (Unforgettable)
You Chinook Me All Night Long - (You Shook Me All Night Long)

Ready? GO!

Not comical/clever but I have been naming my Oktoberfest "Led Zeppelin Lager" for about 20 years.

Other names: Have a Bock on Me (Have a Drink on Me), Hop Rod Lincoln (Hot Rod Lincoln), Hop Rockin' (Hot Rockin'), The Lemondrop Song (The Lemon Song)

When I brew a batch using leftover grains I call it...Leftoverture.

A few I've been toying around with but have not finalized as beery names:

Old brown shoe
Chestnut brown canary (a line from a song, not a title)
One Particular Harbour
Ruby Throated Sparrow (again, a line not a title) should it be a Dubbel?
Savoy Truffle
Cold November Rain

Just a few.

This is the label for the first batch of beer I canned myself. "Strawberry Blondes Forever". It was supposed to a normal blonde ale with strawberries but we decided to throw in a lb of lactose for fun... its almost a milkshake.

I like that! The IPA I usually make with leftover hops is "Kitchen Sink IPA", but I totally think I'm going to steal this...

How about:
"The Immigrant Strong" (Strong Ale)
"The Last in Lime" (Dio Parody - Maybe a Florida Weisse)
"Born to be Mild"
"Rind of the Ancient Mariner" (Iron Maiden)
"The Boch of Souls" (Iron Maiden)
