I learned to make cider by reading these forums. My main source of juice is my family's apple orchard but I realize others are not so lucky.

If you are interested in a good source for juice and are near Toronto we are trying to find a regular market for a pressing of what we have that is best suited to cider in the late fall (likely a lot of very ripe Cortland, some Lawfam, golden russet and other varieties as the cider trees mature). We are going to try appropriately sweating the apples this year.

Just reach out if you are interested. We have worked with homebrew clubs in the past. Price is lower than what you will get at local orchards and it won't be just desert apples. Pickup is in Toronto.

All the best and happy cider making!
