Hi,

I have just got Johnsons A419ABG-3C (120v) Thermostat control to use with my frezer.
I didnot discover that it works with only on 120v until I recieved.
Is there a way to make it work with a 220v frezer? is it possible to connect the control unit to a 110v elecricity and use a converter between the control unit and the frezer in order to get the 220v required for the frezer?

Thanks in Advance,
Hasaan

You need a small 220 Volt to 12O Volt stepdown transformer to power the controller.
The controller relay can then be wired to switch the 220 Volt to the freezer on and off.

The problem you may have to solve is where to mount the transformer so it is protected.
