GA is dead last in craft beer friendliness. Yet, we still have breweries opening here. That includes a new brew pub coming to the Atlanta Beltline which will be operated by Mitch Steele, a former brewmaster from Stone Brewing. But that is a brewpub and a different animal.

We in GA are now behind every state when it comes to walking into a brewery and buying a pint in a tasting room or buying a growler or crowler to go from a brewery. Sure, you can pay a fee and get a tour and your souvenir beer. I think that is one of the reasons why John and Spike had to sell Terrapin to Miller Coors.

Terrapin was bought by Miller?!!!

Maybe they'll start distributing to Chicago! That would be fantastic!

:ban:

There's good and bad to everything...

Terrapin made (makes?) some awesome beers. They had those seasonal/one-off beers that they'd make that were outstanding. They had a coffee stout (I think that was what it was) that was one of the best beers.

I assume, and hope, that the change in ownership doesn't affect the products.
