So I'm going to make up a GF beer for the wife. The recipe calls for a pack of us-05 to be pitched. As I've been plugging the ingredients in to some calculators, I'm getting close to 1.065 on the expected OG. I only have one pack of 05. I also have a pack of s-33. Would it be crazy or interesting to pitch both packs into this beer? Anyone ever pitched 2 kinds of dried yeast into the same batch?

You can pitch both packets but one is enough for that batch. Youll be slightly underpitching but if fermented at the right temp range (lower end if possible) you should have no problem

When you pitch 2 types of yeast at the same time one usually gets going faster and kills the other strain off, as in the case with K-97...with K standing for KILLER!
