Sorry for the dodgy title, I couldn't resist...

I've bought some lovely taps for my kegerator project, which have come equipped with 1" shanks - will these be long enough to get through a fridge door? Or shall I get hold of some replacements?

Depends on the fridge door and how much of the insulation and plastic you plan on removing to install the shank, but those will probably be too short. You're likely going to want 3" at least.

I recently did a Mini fridge conversion and removed the inner molded door panel. Thought that would make the door thin enough for a 3". I discovered i was wrong after investing in two SS 3" shanks. Er on the side of too long..........
